Vote YES on Measure M

Funding for PVUSD Local School Improvements. PVUSD has an improvement measure on the November 5, 2024 ballot. Measure M will be used to upgrade, modernize, and expand programs in our local public schools.

Improve Our School Facilities

Measure M would be used to renovate our schools, replace aging portable classrooms, fix leaky roofs, old plumbing and electrical systems. Also, if the measure passes, PVUSD will also develop labs for technology, robotics, coding, and construction courses.

Measure M will:

  • Replace deteriorating portable classrooms and renovate aging classrooms

  • Repair or replace aging school facility systems including electrical wiring plumbing, heating, cooling, and ventilation, and replace leaky roofs and pipes

  • Expand high school career technical training classrooms including those for coding, robotics, advanced technologies, and construction

  • Upgrade school security and emergency communications systems, install additional fencing and point-of-entry access systems

  • Modernize school facilities to provide greater accessibility to classrooms, restrooms, walkways, and playgrounds in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Fiscal Accountability & Local Citizen Oversight

Measure M would include fiscal accountability and oversight protections, including:

  • All funds could only be used to upgrade and improve our local schools

  • Independent Citizen's Oversight Committee and public spending disclosure would be required

  • Measure M bond funds must be spent on PVUSD projects and cannot be taken by the State and spent elsewhere

We need your support!

The campaign to pass Measure M is a local volunteer effort. Measure M requires 55% approval to win and we are expecting a close election. No PVUSD resources may be used to campaign for Measure M, so community support and a robust grassroots volunteer program will be critical to our success. Improving PVUSD schools will better support our children and dedicated teachers and staff members, and the success of this effort relies on our supporters giving a few hours of time to this important campaign.
